Family Night

We went out for ice cream to our favorite place, Sub zero! They have a Wii in the back along with a pool, table,Foosball table and music. The Kids Love it there and we love it because it is so affordable! So We load up drive over and Guess what? They have closed their doors,no longer here, another small business down the drain. Man i was frustrated and the kids were bummed, so we went to our next favorite place, Cold stone! Yummy!!

Jamen had Cotton candy ice cream with Gummy bears and Kit Kat ( That does not sound good)
Emmit had Cotton candy with bubble gum and reices pieces (sounds equally gross)
Me and Dylan had Cheesecake ice cream with raspberry's and choc syrup Yummy
Justin had Oreo filling ice cream with kit kat and snickers.(that is rich I got sweeted out after one bite)
So much fun I love my family and glad we were able to go do this even if our favorite place was closed!

Over The Break

My sweetest Neighbor

I had so much fun with the family over the break! We relaxed, had a big sledding party, ate way to much food, had a sleep over at my mother in laws house :) played the wii (I hold the record for archery) My husband tried to beat me,but with no success!We had everyone over for the new year,and we stayed up sooooo late soooo many nights. A Highlight of my break was with my neighbor.We had a lovely dinner with Her,my sweet Ursula a woman from Germany.My boys and I just love her so much! Well then a few days later she told me she had something for me. I went to her house and she had 4 big bags full of all her pigs she has collected over the years and wanted me to have them.(I have collected pigs since i was a child)It was so special too me and i am so grateful to have such a wonderful woman in my life.

Hanna and Chris taught us how to play a new game that we both lurve, called settlers of catan. We saw lots of family and friends and really just had a superb Vacation. I have felt so blessed this Holiday Season and as I start the new Year, My life has changed so much over the past few years and mostly all for the good. I see a new me. I Feel like I have been given too many blessings to count and i am so grateful. I

Some days I feel so undeserving, but I have certainty felt the Healing powers take place in my heart and as I follow His teachings. What a Blessing that in itself is! New Year

Another year has flown right on bye, my kids are a year older, new challenges, different blessings, new paint, an extra 8 lbs :) ect. ect. ect. . I find myself thinking about all the goals I want to write down and start tackling, and naturally my mind then turns to all the goals i made last year and never did complete. Then i just feel inadequate and like i cant and wont achieve these new resolutions.

So after a little battle,some prayer and some positive self talk. I realized what i must do and what i am going to do. I will stand up and have the strength and determination to work towards these goals. I will not let anything stand in my way. I will and can achieve my goals. I will not let the insecurities and my lack of good self esteem get me down. I will Be more. I will try harder. I will love myself. This year I will succeed.I will be the Woman i always said someday i want to be. :)

Dates with My little Men

So every other month I take my boys on individual dates of there choosing! We have so much fun and each time we play a game called Twenty questions, and get to know eachother better and build memories together. I really think it has helped me bond and enjoy each one of there very differant personalities.

Dylan's Date: We hung out at the house, played ball and learned new words. I love spending time with my boys.

Emmit's Date: Me and emmit decided to go see Ice age #3 It was such a good show we laughed and had so much fun.

Jamen's date: He picked to go to great wall, a family favorite chinese resteraunt. We had so much food our belly's just about burst.

The week after this date i went on a date with my husband to see New moon and do dinner . I got dolled up and my son was so upset, i asked him why he was mad and bless his heart He told me "Mom when you went on our dates you looked wretched and then you got pretty for dad." Needless to say but i think our next group on individual dates i will take a little more effort. Lol

Supercross Salt Lake City Utah

So it is my twenty sixth birthday and i decided to take the reins on the celebration and buy supercross tickets for my big day! It was such a good decision, Supercross is now my favorite sport to watch, words cannot describe the amount of thrill and awsomeness(that might not be a webster word)that goes on watching a race! Fabulous Time!! We arrived early to go to the pits,check out all the bikes and riders. We saw so many cool things and famous riders and the coolest of all I got my picture taken with Andy Bell from the show NitroCircus on mtv. They do some amazing stunts, tricks whatever ya want to call um! Any way now i am like practically famous lol! The boys got his autograph and a poster. It was a good way to start off the night!

This is the track, we had fabulous seats and it was a rush!

We went with my sister Alison, Brian and Benson. They go every year and are major fans. We stayed at there house and had such a good time. I enjoyed spending time with their family.

It ended up raining,snowing freezing us at the very end, but we came prepared with ponchos and remained glued to the seats. Number 14 won Kevin Windahm It was intense!!

He was born July 18th 2008 He just turned 6 mths. old
Dylan has been such a blessing in our lives, he is the most happy baby you will ever meet. He has was the little piece that brought us together. These past six months have been so much fun getting to know Dylan and watching him grow. He is rolling over and sitting up, he wants to crawl but just lays on his belly and scratches the ground while wiggling his legs. (He gets pretty upset when he doesn't move.) As you can see he sucks his thumb, I find it to be the cutest thing ever. He is a big boy,with such big features. As of today he weighs 18 and a half pds. We just love him so much, him and the boys share such a great love for each other. Look at the kid how can you not love the heck out of him.

We went to Soda Springs to visit my amazing,talented sister Rebecca and her family. We had a blast, we left Friday night late arrived around 11:30 stayed up until 1;30,visiting. The next day we woke up were treated with a delicious breakfast, Bacon, eggs, biscuits & honey butter , cinnamon ripple muffins (can we just say divine?)

Then we went to a winter festival extravaganza fishing derby. It was so awesome! We fished for an hour and a half, and caught five massive fish. (The smallest was Justin's . . . heehee) It wasn't really small, though, it was between 3 and 4 pounds. Truman caught the biggest--over 6 pounds. The kids had so much fun--it was a fishing trip people dream of!!!

Next we went to a free lunch for kids and they handed out prizes to the kids. We ran over and saw the geyser explode. The kids got along so well, and it was very enjoyable to see my sister and visit. Rebecca, Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will come see you again soon!

Getting Ready for Baby #3.....

My two sisters that live here, ( Hanna and katie) surprised me with a baby shower. I was so excited because I haven't had a baby for five years and have nothing that has to do with a baby left from my other boys! THANKS TO EVERY ONE FOR MAKING IT A SPECIAL DAY! I am even more excited for our new little boy to get here.

Baby Boy punch! One package of Cool Aid made as directed, One can of Lemon Lime frozen juice, two liters of 7up. Don't forget ice cubes with babies frozen inside! My aunt Sharla gave my sister this recipe and it is heavenly.

When the ice cubes melted it looked like drowning babies...
slightly MORBID!

The food theme was all things tiny. It consisted of tiny sandwiches, bite size fruit and veggies, and tiny blue frosted and sprinkled cookies.

welcome everyone to the Shower! You can get the instructions here! My sister Hanna used card board instead of foam. It was cheaper and just as cute. Just use a bowl to trace the outline of a wreath and cut, then use the same instructions on the link.

Can we say Huge!!! Here I am in all my pregnant glory,Truly not the most flattering picture! They say cameras add ten pds. to ya so I'm stickin with that! I am schedualed to have the baby Wednesday July 30th @ 7:30 am via c-section. So mark your calendars. We have decided to call our baby boy ,

Camping in Kelly Canyon

We had a blast!! We went memorial weekend 4 days of bliss, It was right by the river so we fished until we ran out of tackle.Jamen caught a 16 inch brown and 3 other fish. Emmit caught a 14 inch rainbow trout and 4 others ! Justin taught the kids how to cast and bait their hooks so it was awsome to see them do it all by themselves!!

I know it is a little late to be blogging about Christmas, but hey, we had a good time and I wanted to share. The boys were so excited (but I think Justin was the most excited being able to share Christmas with the boys!) The boys woke us up at 6:00 to start opening presents.

Our traditions are: 1-stocking get opened first, 2-Santa brings one big gift to open, 3-open all the rest of the presents, and 4- enjoy a delectable breakfast casserole.

Our favorite gifts:

Sharla: Record player (good one Justin- you are so sweet!)
Jamen: Air Hockey Table
Emmit: Marble Run

We made a good haul! We enjoy having this time of year to reflect on the Savior.

Robertson Family Update...

Just a little update on how the family is doing. I know I haven't blogged in quite a while so I thought I would update everyone on how the Robertson family is doing.
Jamen, is doing well in school and growing up way too fast. He is in Kindergarten and is learning so much. One of his favorite things is Show and Tell. The last time he had it I tried to talk him out of bringing the biggest remote control hummer that you have ever seen. However, he was very convincing and talked me into it. He said that the kids went crazy over it and was so excited to tell me what a hit it was.
Emmit, is not my baby anymore. He is also growing up way to fast. He can write his name and knows the letters of the alphabet. He is still as clumsy as ever and gets into mischief when I am not paying attention. His latest stunt included a pair of scissors and a few bald spots on his head. I tried to even it out but you can still see where he took chunks out. He claims Jamen gave him the scissors and I don't doubt it for a second.
Justin, is working hard to support the family and adjusting to married life with two wild little boys. I am so lucky to have him in my life and so thankful he has been such a good father to the boys. He is scared and excited about the new baby on the way and works even harder knowing there is going to be an addition.
I am growing bigger every day and feel so blessed to have a little life growing inside of me. I'm trying to keep up with the boys and get in a little rest when I can. I have been busy with doctor appointments, babysitting and keeping the family happy. I have also been nesting and trying to get the house together for our new arrival this year.
That is The Robertson Family update. I hope to keep on top of blogging when I get a chance and love and miss you all.

Jamen has started Kindergarten,I think i am finally over the crying stage. I have had the hardest time this year with Jamen going to school, but Jamen really enjoys to learn, He is such a good boy at school, I have received many compliments on his behavior in class,from the teacher and the teachers aid.I am not bragging i am just stating this because it is sorta strange to here such good things,those of you that know him understand.
I am so happy for his Independance he really is a big helper around the house.

My cute little baby boy!I know your very jealous of my husky little guy.He had a birthday Aug.27 my baby is four years old.He got a rabbit for his birthday,it is black and white so Emmit decided to name him flower. I hope this rabbit has a better fate than Steve did. Steve went swimming one day, in the pool, with Emmit. These were his remarks of that fateful day"Look mom Steve is floating."However I resuscitated the poor thing,couple weeks later, he made his mighty escaped.Emmit enjoys: coloring, fighting with his brother,destroying everything in his path. I love the kid and enjoy watching him grow each and every day.
